Our care teams travel directly to patients who reside in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Group Home communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Florida and are supported by clinical operations and administrative colleagues who work remotely or at our corporate offices in Stillwater, Minnesota, and Tampa, Florida.

Position Overview:

The Clinical Field Supervisor (CFS) is a vital leader within Bluestone Physician Services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care and operational excellence within their assigned territory. Reporting directly to the Regional Field Services Manager, the CFS leads, mentors, and supports a team of Clinical Assistants (CAs). This dynamic role involves regular field visits to ensure quality standards are met, workflow optimization is achieved, and provider collaboration is fostered. The CFS is instrumental in upholding Bluestone's mission and values while driving continuous improvement within their team.

Schedule: Full-Time Position with Day Shift Hours—No evenings, weekends, or holidays

Location: Central Tampa, FL (Tarpon Springs, Temple Terrace, Land O' Lakes)

Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Field-Based Leadership & Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct Regular Field Visits: Dedicate significant time to in-person visits with clinical teams, observing workflows, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Drive Quality Improvement: Conduct quarterly chart audits, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster Provider Partnerships: Build strong relationships with providers, gather feedback on clinical support, and collaborate to achieve shared goals. Attend Market Coverage meetings to ensure proper clinical support alignment.
  • Attend Team Meetings: Participate in team huddles and/or practice overviews to gain insights into team dynamics, address issues, and reinforce best practices.

Team Performance & Development:

  • Mentor and Coach CAs: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, providing guidance, performance feedback, and addressing any challenges.
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Analyze team dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with the scheduling and pre-step processes.
  • Maintain Clinical Competencies: Ensure all CA clinical competencies are up-to-date, documented, and stored appropriately.
  • Recruit, Train, and Onboard: Assist in interviewing candidates, train new CAs, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

Administrative & Operational Responsibilities:

  • Manage Timekeeping & PTO: Approve time cards and PTO requests, ensuring adequate coverage for the team while monitoring overtime per policy. Coordinate PTO coverage as needed.
  • Maintain Visit Schedule: Keep an updated visit schedule on the shared Google calendar, ensuring visibility for the MFS, CPD, and Director of Clinical Field Services.
  • Participate in Meetings: Actively engage in department meetings and workgroups when applicable, sharing insights and collaborating on solutions.
Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
  • 5+ years of experience working in a clinical setting
  • 3-5 years for demonstrated clinical leadership experience required
  • Valid driver's license required

  • Local travel up to 75% is required
