Test Automation:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Python to test web applications across different browsers and devices.

Framework Development: Build and enhance test automation frameworks and tools, ensuring they are scalable, reusable, and maintainable.

Test Execution & Reporting: Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects with detailed steps and logs to the development team.

Continuous Integration (CI): Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for seamless testing in agile development cycles.

Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and help them improve their automation skills.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.

Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing (if applicable) and identify areas for optimization.

Test Strategy & Design: Collaborate in the development of overall test strategy, test plans, and test case documentation.

Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects in bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), and ensure effective communication with developers for resolution.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously improve the testing process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, specifically with Selenium and Java and/or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest, Robot Framework).
  • Proficiency in Python programming, including object-oriented design and debugging.
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser developer tools.
