Job Description :

Technical Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, and analysts in migrating database and complex T-SQL stored procedures to Azure Synapse/Spark SQL, Delta lake.

• Establish best practices for Data Engineering, performance tuning, and security implementation and report Integration.

• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and drive continuous improvement in the Data Engineering process.

Project & Delivery Management:

• Ability to function as a client facing Scrum Master, implement agile methodologies and tracking mechanisms to ensure timely project delivery.

• Work closely with offshore and onshore stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to define requirements, priorities, and project timelines.

• Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end migration, meeting quality and performance standards.

• Ability to identify, manage and mitigate risks in an Agile environment

• Oversee the environment setup, development/testing activities for a migration project.

Data Integration & Architecture Oversight

• Experience in Microsoft Azure Synapse, Pyspark/ Spark SQL

• Define and guide the team on data modelling and design activities

• Collaborate with ETL/data engineering teams to integrate data from EHR/EMR, claims, provider, and payer sources.

• Ensure scalability and performance optimization in Azure Synapse, & SQL Server.

US Health Care Domain Oversight

• Define and guide the team on health care data domains

• Understanding of US Health Care Data Interoperability standards

Integration & Architecture Oversight

• Collaborate with ETL/data engineering teams to migrate data from client data sources to identified target structures.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

• Act as the primary point of contact for onshore leadership, business teams, and technology partners.
