HeartFlow is seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Commercial Systems Director to join our team as we look to scale our organization and ramp up commercialization efforts in the U.S., UK, Europe, and Japan.

Reporting to the VP of Commercial Operations, the Commercial Systems Director will play a key role in driving commercial excellence to provide optimized business tools and processes. Leveraging expertise and experience in sales process optimization, contracts management and project management, this individual will drive business process improvements for commercial operations and the integration of processes, technology, and people toward the achievement of sales targets. This position will work with multiple teams and stakeholders, including users within the various business teams and IT, and make a direct impact on business process and commercial operations. #LI-IB1; #LI-Remote

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and execute commercial strategies based on company goals and objectives with the main goal to support and accelerate growth.
  • Identify, analyze, and streamline revenue-related processes across all commercial functions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve the overall effectiveness of the commercial teams.
  • Develop and refine holistic commercial frameworks in Salesforce such as lead management, accounts and opportunity pipeline / sales forecasting processes, product and quota management, order-to-cash processes, attribution models, quote & proposal (CPQ), and contracts management.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative tools and resources required to optimize commercial operations and drive sales results.
  • Manage the development efforts by ensuring the IT delivery team understands the requirements and prioritize the backlog.
  • Manage incident tickets, debug, and resolve issues relating to Salesforce and other commercial systems.
  • Own the communication of any Salesforce or other commercial platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
  • Perform training needs assessments, identifying knowledge gaps, and formulate targeted training initiatives.
  • Offer continuous support to users, ensuring proficient and effective Salesforce use.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to commercial operations. Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement and stay ahead of market changes.

A Day in the Life

  • Define business processes, KPIs and enablers for the commercial teams.
  • Create Salesforce and other technology roadmap/product backlog to provide innovative solutions.
  • Provide scope and direction to all stakeholders and be the product owner for all commercial systems including Salesforce.
  • Improve operational efficiency and increase commercial team’s effectiveness through continuous improvement.
  • Drive business requirements, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations
  • Work with IT in automating and building integrations for seamless data flow to other platforms.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of commercial systems experience
  • 6+ years of Salesforce.com experience
  • Experience defining functional specification diagrams, identifying gaps between current and desired states.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating salesforce with other business applications.
  • Demonstrated success leading change in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task and adapt to the ever-changing requirements of a dynamic company.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics skills with high-level corporate presentation experience.
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, and detailed functional and operational expertise.

This position has an estimated base salary of $170,000 - $210,000, a cash bonus, and stock options.
