The Lead Analyst - Strategic Analytics will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making across the organization by providing deep analytical insights into market trends, competitive positioning, and commercial performance. The successful candidate will translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence commercial strategy and growth initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards and reports used by senior management to monitor business health and strategic progress.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated analytical models (e.g., forecasting, simulation, optimization) to evaluate potential business strategies.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and data visualization tools (Tableau) to uncover accurate and actionable insights.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and the development of robust data pipelines necessary for strategic analysis.
- Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on analytical methodologies, data best practices, and effective communication of insights.
- Drive continuous improvement in analytical capabilities and processes across the Strategic Analytics function.
Skills Needed:
- Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python. Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau) and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Analytical Skillset: Proven ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous business problems using a data-driven approach. Strong understanding of financial modeling and forecasting principles
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex analytical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level management
Educational Requirements & Work Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Work Experience and Education: 3 years relevant experience plus a master’s degree, or 4+ years of progressive experience in strategic analysis, consulting, business intelligence, or corporate strategy, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries and a bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred Experience: Direct experience with syndicated healthcare data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Definitive Healthcare, claims data). Experience working with publicly traded company data and understanding of investor relations analysis. Prior experience leading analytical projects or managing junior staff/contractors.

The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $166,000 and cash bonus. #LI-Hybrid
