Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
This position is remote. To be considered, qualified candidates must reside in one of the following states:
Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.

The Role: Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for interviewing and referring applicants for clinical and administrative positions throughout the company.
This is a highly-visible, high-volume recruitment position. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR and recruitment professional to make a lasting impact on the company. The position requires knowledge of Human Resources law and best practices, and strong customer service skills. A successful TA Consultant will effectively communicate Ideal Option’s Mission and Values to potential applicants and promote company culture.
Essential Functions: The following functions have been determined by Ideal Option to be essential to the successful performance of this position which includes but is not limited to:
- Performs full-cycle, high volume recruitment within an assigned territory.
- Partners with hiring managers and serves as an expert for recruiting and retaining quality candidates.
- Demonstrates knowledge of HR and employment law and best practices.
- Cultivates a strong sense of customer service to develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients and ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Coordinates with hiring managers to evaluate staffing needs.
- Reviews position requests and creates job requisitions.
- Screens resumes and interviews applicants using various interviewing techniques.
- Conducts interviews with hiring managers to ensure quality and consistency of the recruitment process.
- Extends verbal and written contingent job offers. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
- Facilitates New Employee Orientation (NEO).
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting and onboarding process.
- Updates candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
- Notifies declined candidates and sends letters of rejection.
- Assists with reports on employment activity.
- Travels as necessary.
- Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
- Uses traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Administers appropriate assessments.
- Communicates hiring recommendations to managers and explains how that decision was reached.
- Conducts reference checks as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:
• 1-5 years recruiting experience in an HR environment.
• Previous leadership experience in the HR field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or progressively responsible experience in lieu of education.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
