Compensation: $18 per hour
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 7pm-7:30am (Night Shift), 40 hours per week.

The Role:
The Patient Care Representative provides outstanding service to incoming patient inquires and providing an in-depth understanding of Ideal Option’s treatment program and other company protocols. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can follow documented training processes, creatively problem solve as needed when issues arise during a call and provide our patients with top-notch care and compassion.

The following functions have been determined by Ideal Option to be essential to the successful performance of this position which includes but is not limited to:
• Handles a large volume of inbound and outbound phone calls in a timely manner.
• Builds positive relationships by going above and beyond with customer service, ensuring that all questions, concerns, and scheduling requests are addressed appropriately and accurately.
• Meets all personal and team productivity and quality goals.
• Uses scripts and refers to training and process documentation during calls.
• Collects necessary demographic and insurance information in patient charts, updating when necessary.
• Communicates well with the team and leadership through Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
• Schedules appointments for new and established patients.
• Transfers phone calls and provides phone messages to appropriate staff.
• Effectively uses our scheduling program.
• Uses creating problem solving skills to implement solutions and escalating unresolved problems.
• Complies with national PHI laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Maintains continual sustained attendance.
• Represents Ideal Option professionally and with a positive attitude.
• Preforms Quality Review of patient EHR to ensure appropriate transmission of needed orders in a timely manner.
• Monitors and tracks completion of patient charts.
• Communicates electronically with providers and differing IO teams in collaborating completion of patient EHR.
• Monitors after hour concerns from interdisciplinary team members and escalates to appropriate channels.
• Works as a patient advocate, contacting pharmacies and providers as necessary.

Our ideal candidate:
Has effective verbal and written communication skills. Can type a speed of 60 words per minute or more. Has the ability to multitask, learn quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment, has general knowledge regarding use of office equipment. A knowledge of chemical dependency and its effects on individuals, families, and communities is required.
Minimum Requirements to be considered:
- Candidates will need to provide and use a home computer or laptop (not a Chromebook).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with personal computers (Microsoft Suite, ability to multitask within an internet browser and/or electronic spreadsheets)
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year or more of experience in a call center or medical scheduling office
- AA or equivalent experience
