Sr. Corporate Development ManagerPosition Summary:

Our AI-enabled platform, Tom is designed to fundamentally reshape how primary care and value-based healthcare operate — not incrementally, but structurally.As we scale Tom as a standalone growth engine, we are entering a pivotal phase of enterprise expansion. This role sits at the center of that effort.
The Sr. Corporate Development Manager will play a critical role in executing the company's enterprise growth strategy — supporting capital raises, strategic partnerships, and high-impact growth initiatives tied to scaling a high-growth healthcare technology platform. Partnering closely with executive leadership, including the CFO and Chief of Staff, this individual will guide cross-functional teams, influence executive decision-making, develop investor-ready materials, and translate complex data into compelling executive narratives.
This role requires a hands-on operator who combines analytical depth, structured problem solving, executive presence, and discretion in high-stakes environments.
Job Description:
Corporate Development Execution
- Direct and manage all phases of workstreams supporting capital raises, strategic investments, and partnerships.
- Design and orchestrate comprehensive diligence processes including data room organization, materials coordination, and information flow.
- Act as the primary strategic liaison with internal Finance and Legal teams and external advisors and counsel.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate deal-related risks while ensuring adherence to critical timelines and milestones.
Executive & Investor Storytelling
- Synthesize complex financial and operational data to architect compelling, executive-ready narratives for board, investor, and strategic presentations.
- Ensure financial exhibits and operational metrics clearly tell a value-creation story.
- Elevate internal materials to external-facing quality standards.
Strategic & Financial Case Building
- Lead the comprehensive evaluation of partnership and investment targets, delivering clear recommendations based on rigorous financial, operational, and strategic analysis.
- Interpret, evaluate, and pressure-test financial models developed by internal and external partners, including valuation, scenario modeling, and pro forma forecasting.
- Assess the reasonableness of assumptions, key value drivers, and downside risks — identifying sensitivity points and potential deal-break scenarios.
- Develop and articulate the strategic rationale for growth initiatives, modeling long-term value drivers and integration impacts.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
- Orchestrate collaboration across Legal, Finance, Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and People & Culture as strategic initiatives progress.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable workstreams across departments.
- Drive the development and implementation of scalable corporate development processes and governance frameworks.
Confidentiality & Judgment
- Handle highly sensitive financial, strategic, and investor information with discretion and maturity.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in high-stakes environments.
- Maintain trust with executive stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in corporate development, strategic finance, private equity, consulting, or a similar transaction-focused environment.
- Experience leading key workstreams or functions within multiple deal or capital cycles from diligence through close.
- Demonstrated mastery of complex financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Executive-level communication skills with strong presentation development capability.
- Structured, analytical problem-solving approach.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a lean, hands-on environment without large analyst support teams.
- High degree of discretion and professional maturity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare experience across payer, provider, healthtech, or SaaS environments.
- Experience in growth-stage, venture-backed, or PE-backed companies.
- MBA from an accredited university
- Exposure to both successful and unsuccessful transaction processes with clear articulation of lessons learned.

In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.
The hiring range for this position is:
