We’re on a mission to transform clinical decision-making through predictive analytics and biomarker intelligence. We are expanding our marketing team to include a Senior Manager, Digital & Performance Marketing, a strategic, tech-savvy leader with a strong track record in healthcare, bioscience, or digital health marketing.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Accounting with a strong growth mindset, to lead our day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening our month-end close, improving processes, and partnering across teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to build meaningful partnerships across Finance and shared services.
Responsibilities
- Monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Own payroll and equity reporting partnering alongside HR
- Monthly revenue reporting on partnership projects and direct billing for MSDA services
- Influence and drive process improvements and efficiencies for growth
- Oversee third party accounting team
- Prepare accounting memos on complex transactions such as new leases, debt refinancing, grant income and new partnership agreements
- Maintain debt compliance reporting, lead the external audit process, Assist in system implementations
- Manage compliance activities such as state taxes, business licenses and various business surveys
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA required)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a high-growth or tech-forward environment
- Interest in or experience applying AI tools to accounting workflows
- Familiarity with accounting systems like Netsuite, Floqast, and spend management systems (e.g. Certify and Rippling Spend Management)
Salary Range
$165K - $185K + Bonus + Equity + Benefits. The successful candidate's starting base salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
