We are seeking a Field Marketing and Outreach Contractor (1099) to support local provider engagement and referral growth within a defined territory.

Engagement Overview

  • Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Location: Carlsbad
  • Scope: Local provider outreach and relationship development
  • Duration: This is a project based engagement, estimated to be for approximately 2 months
  • Time Commitment: Contractor manages their own schedule to meet project milestones and distribution goals, estimated at ~4 hours per week
  • Travel: Determined by contractor to support outreach within their market
  • Rate: $25 - $30 per hour plus mileage reimbursement

The Field Marketing and Outreach Contractor supports Origin’s presence in a local market by executing provider outreach activities and building referral relationships. This role focuses on maintaining visibility with women’s health and specialty practices and supporting engagement efforts that drive referrals.

This is a results-oriented, independent role. Contractors maintain control over how work is performed while aligning with Origin’s brand, messaging, and overall objectives.


Scope of Work

Provider Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Conduct outreach to women’s health and specialty practices within the market
  • Deliver informational materials and communicate Origin’s services and referral process
  • Support building professional relationships between clinic staff and providers
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen referral partnerships

Provider Engagement Support

  • Coordinate and support provider engagement activities (e.g., meetings, educational touchpoints, or events)
  • Facilitate introductions and maintain consistent follow-up with referral partners
  • Identify high-potential practices for deeper engagement

Reporting & Market Insights

  • Track outreach activity and engagement within agreed-upon tools or systems
  • Provide updates on activity, market feedback, and referral trends
  • Share insights on what is resonating with providers and where opportunities exist

Collaboration

  • Align with Origin’s internal team on messaging, priorities, and market strategy
  • Provide status updates regarding project milestones

Bonus Points

  • Experience in field sales, pharmaceutical sales, or medical device sales
  • Existing relationships with women's health or specialty practices in your market
  • Background in healthcare, pelvic floor, or women's health
