Responsibilities

The Manager, Commercial Operations, is responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness by boosting performance across the commercial organization. This position will play a critical role in the organization by leading key initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of workstreams across multiple functions to optimize operational performance. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage key initiatives in collaboration with other business functions related to key business initiatives.
  • Manage implementation workstreams across multiple functions related to optimizing operational performance.
  • Ability to manage projects and implement business tools such as salesforce to drive business/ department goals.
  • Establish clear expectations for preparation and participation, as well as development of common materials and frameworks, as needed.
  • Execute various types of operations projects that arise in different parts of the business e. provider, population health, inpatient / outpatient, and customer success.
  • Initiate and drive to completion / results across the enterprise e. multiple markets.
  • Lead process to identify operations projects that have high impact on EBITDA and establishing implementation roadmap.
  • Develop a list of high ROI projects that require resourcing and approval for the annual budget process.
  • Provide clear communication and reporting of project status and results to leadership.
  • Develop teachable, repeatable execution playbooks for strategic ideation, execution planning and management.
  • Establish meeting cadence, agenda, norms, strategic frameworks, and use of data insights to conduct project reviews and share process map and results.
  • Build excellence in day-to-day meeting operations, processes, and outcomes.
  • Develop and prepare executive level presentations related to ongoing and completed projects.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in a commercial role, preferably in a healthcare consulting industry, medical group practices or other health care organizations.
  • Functional experience in the US, Commercial preferred with strong project management strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP Certification highly desired.
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance and execution that drives results in a cross-functional working environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possess strong business acumen, excellent strategic thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence both credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing, matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex projects requiring cross functional alignment.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, strategic thinker, and ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere.
  • Proven ability to be highly organized and systematic.
