Job Title & Role Description:
We are seeking a Product Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of the clinical products we build and implement across our technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for developing and executing structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts for internally developed solutions built in Salesforce, as well as for vendor solutions supporting clinical workflows. The Product Quality Assurance Analyst will also perform quality assurance testing related to new releases and feature updates within Athena, our electronic health record (EHR), to ensure changes align with organizational workflows and stakeholder expectations. This individual will work closely with analysts, developers, and stakeholders in a fast-paced healthcare environment, contributing to the establishment of QA processes, proactively identifying gaps in functionality, and supporting user acceptance testing to ensure successful, high-quality product delivery.
Skills Required:
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience testing complex applications, preferably within healthcare or clinical systems
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple applications and concurrent initiatives
- Basic understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare technology (preferred)
Key Behaviors:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across clinical applications.
- Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure new developments meet business and clinical requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies using appropriate QA tools and work collaboratively with developers and product teams to resolve them.
- Validate that enhancements are implemented as intended and are aligned with user expectations and clinical workflows.
- Actively participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and product demos to stay aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on usability, functionality, and performance to ensure an optimal user experience.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure testing activities are completed on time and within scope to support timely product releases.
