At Wider Circle, we connect neighbors for better health. Wider Circle's groundbreaking Connect for Life®

program brings neighbors together in-person and online for health, wellness, and social activities that

improve mental and physical health. We create webs of community circles by employing local and

culturally competent engagement specialists, whose hand-on-hand approach to forming trusted circles is

informed by a sophisticated analytics platform. We are on a mission to make the world a better place for

older adults and disadvantaged communities.

● Lead service design processes from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with

organizational goals, member needs, and partner expectations.

● Conduct research to gain insights into the experiences of our members and the challenges of our

program in serving them.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including program operations, technology, product,

content, and marketing.

● Design user journeys, service blueprints, and other relevant artifacts that help us visualize the

front- and back-stage moments within our programs and processes.

● Facilitate engaging and impactful workshops and design sprints with members and stakeholders.

● Develop and maintain, as necessary, our core program design that can establish consistent

approaches where possible and promote individuality of service delivery where able.

● At all times, advocate for the importance of the member’s perspective in design and business

decisions including their experience and motivations.

● Continue to develop professionally, especially within the field of community organizing,

community health, and social factors affecting decision making.

● Develop a deep understanding of members in our communities including their needs, systemic

disadvantages, and available resources.

You Will Help Us Build a Program That:

● Creates natural support systems in community networks between our members and our

community engagement specialists as well as their peers.

● Produces moments of joy. Our members will remember how our program makes them feel to

be a part of it.

● Activates members through varied methods to produce consistent engagement.

● Cultivates and sows a strong sense of trust among peers and our team members.

● Reinforces that peer and social support opportunities are provided with dignity so that we may

help those who need support now and provide opportunities for those same individuals to help

others in their time.

● Facilitates the organic identification of natural community champions and empower them to

create self-sustaining networks.

● Establishes connections between individuals within our programs and their own communities.

● Fosters the development of resilient networks that help our members achieve success and reach

their potential, no matter their goals.
