OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
ZeroFox seeks a self-motivated, results-driven and assertive individual to cultivate new relationships and leverage existing relationships with Federal Financial, Regulatory Agencies, and State Government Agencies. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for executing business development and sales strategy throughout their respective region to meet or exceed revenue goals while establishing relationships with key decision-makers, and driving the sales process through to completion. Qualified candidates must be customer-focused, be able to travel frequently throughout their assigned region, be comfortable with a commission-based reward structure, and demonstrate a successful track record working within Federal Financial, Regulatory Agencies, and State Government Agencies.
Role and responsibilities
- Sell industry-leading enterprise security services
- Embody “sales discipline” and develop well-thought-out plans to rapidly develop territory and key accounts
- Forecast, achieve, and maintain sales appointment levels, product and service sales volumes, and target margins as outlined on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Cross-sell ZeroFox platform subscriptions to customers
- Lead and facilitate sales initiatives
- Report on sales strategies and pipeline regularly
- Provide input for sales and marketing materials
- Establish, develop, and maintain successful relationships with partner territory sales and account management teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact for ZeroFox customers, internal teams, and partners
- Work in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment
- Prospect for new business with new and existing customers
- Attend industry and relevant technology events
- Participate in industry conferences and actively support ZeroFox’s marketing and awareness efforts
Required qualifications and skills
- History of exceeding quota
- Successful track record selling cyber security solutions directly to Federal Financial, Regulatory Agencies, and State Government Agency customers, typically obtained over a minimum of 5-7+ years
- Ability to operate independently as a sales rep and in conjunction with a remote sales engineer
- Cybersecurity expertise
- Demonstrated ability to uncover, qualify, develop, and close new accounts
- Established network in Federal Financial, Regulatory, and State Government Agencies
- Ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle
- Persuasion and excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Effective communication with both technology-oriented and senior business executives at the C-level
- Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-motivation
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
- Salesforce and Google Suite skills
- Experience using Revenue Operations and Intelligence technology
- Ability to travel as needed; willingness to regularly travel across the East or West United States to meet customers and partners in various states / territories
Desired qualifications and skills
- Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging cyber challenges on a global scale across multiple industries
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms and SaaS security requirements.
- Knowledge of the Federal Financial, Regulatory Agencies, and State Government organization and key leaders.
- Understanding of Federal Financial, Regulatory Agencies, State Government, and national strategic cyber priorities and plans
- Sandler selling certification

Other Information
- This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Public Sector
- This position may entail up to 50% travel
- This role requires occasional work on nights and weekends as needed
